This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges, including a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The pump features a 2-1/2" suction port and a 1-1/2" discharge port in a top center line discharge configuration.
This pump is configured with a 3 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is a Super E premium efficiency unit that meets MG1-12.55 standards and utilizes an 182 JM frame with mounting feet. It operates on 230-460/60/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The assembly features a rear pullout design to allow for servicing without disturbing the system piping. The pump maintains a PEI of 0.83.
