This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve for seal maintenance. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and assists with self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 145 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient operation with CCW rotation and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
