This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is configured with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP, Premium Efficiency Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power and uses a NEMA 215 T-frame. The assembly includes a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment, features AEGIS shaft grounding, and complies with MG1-12.55 standards. The PEI is 0.91.
