This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and a 3" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is equipped with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent the shaft from contacting circulating fluids. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are integrated into the casing. The rear pullout design allows for internal servicing without disconnecting system piping.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and drip cover. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and maintains a 40 °C ambient rating. This pump features a PEI of 0.89.
