This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and features greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is premium efficiency rated and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base featuring an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupling connects the pump to the motor. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
