This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The bearing frame contains greasable bearings and utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft.
This unit is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor is NEMA 326 frame and complies with premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55. Additional features include an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The pump and motor are mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. The unit maintains a PEI value of 0.93.
