This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and is housed within a cast iron casing. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent system fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring and flush seal line taps for filter installation. A top center line discharge allows for self-venting, while a rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping.
The motor is a 40 HP, 1750 RPM unit with a TEFC enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and uses across-the-line starting. This Baldor motor meets NEMA standards for 40°C ambient conditions and provides premium efficiency in accordance with MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump rotation is CCW. The unit is rated for a DOE PEI of 0.89.
