This end suction pump utilizes a class 30 cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and integrally cast mounting feet. The assembly integrates a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This dry shaft design eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal incorporates a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. Constructed for 125 PSI service, the unit also incorporates a replaceable bronze wear ring.
The motor operates at 40 HP with premium efficiency and a TEFC enclosure at 1750 RPM. This motor assembly incorporates Aegis grounding and utilizes a 380-460V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
