This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction port and a 5" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F in clean water applications. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 254T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The connection between the pump and the motor uses a Woods flexible coupler. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and is designed for a 40°C ambient environment. The bearing frame features greasable bearings.
