This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, which is supported by a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It includes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 284 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor and pump connect via a Woods coupler, which is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
