This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly is supported by a bearing frame with greasable bearings.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 254 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH, providing premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This configuration is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and carries a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
