This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This unit is configured with a 1 HP Baldor motor in a 143JM frame style with feet and an ODP enclosure with a drip cover. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes an across-the-line starting option with a 40 °C ambient rating. The assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
