This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation at temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 182 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The equipment includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler with a coupler guard, and a bearing frame with greasable bearings. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI of 0.86.
