This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits maintenance without disrupting system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration facilitates piping alignment.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a JM frame style with feet and utilizes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH, with a standard across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The pump is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250 °F and a 40 °C ambient temperature, with a standard counter-clockwise rotation.
