This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, along with a bronze wear ring. The construction includes a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 100 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 405T frame. The electrical configuration supports 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard featuring a Woods coupler. The system includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
