This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. It is configured with a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 326T frame. The motor is an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply, and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and connects via a Woods coupler. The pump assembly mounts to a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and a coupler guard. The system is rated with a PEI of 0.93 and supports across-the-line starting in 40°C ambient environments.
