This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The shaft is constructed from stainless steel and utilizes a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is equipped with a mechanical seal comprising a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, with a temperature rating of 225°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA T frame 254. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The bearing frame uses greasable bearings for support. This unit is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
