This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The unit uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor in a 145 JM frame style with feet. It features an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The electrical configuration is 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, meeting NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.83 and is intended for clean water applications with temperatures up to 250°F.
