This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, paired with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design that incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP WEG motor housed in a TEFC enclosure. It is built to a NEMA 324T frame size and utilizes a Woods coupler for connection. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan. This unit has a PEI of 0.92.
