This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft. The casing consists of cast iron and utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a 326T NEMA frame. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3PH, configured with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump maintains a PEI of 0.92 and operates in 40°C ambient conditions with CCW rotation.
