This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design. This unit is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F and includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter.
This pump is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, a 284 JM frame, and a factory-installed drip cover. The motor operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient environment, and the DOE PEI is 0.92.
