This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed in a cast iron casing and cover. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid, along with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout assembly allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and piping alignment.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. It utilizes a 215 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standard MG1-12.55. The unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.96.
