This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump construction utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This pump is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 184 T-frame enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. Power input is 200V, 60Hz, 3PH with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.91.
