This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a nominal diameter of 9-1/2", and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It includes a mechanical seal comprised of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 225°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is rated for 230-460/60/3 operation and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings in the bearing frame. The pump is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler with a protective guard. This equipment is rated at 40°C ambient and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
