This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The design includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. It incorporates 6" suction and 5" discharge connections, with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings provided on the suction and discharge ports. The unit utilizes a rear pullout design that allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is driven by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor, which features Super E premium efficiency and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. This motor is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and operates at 1750 RPM in a 256 JM motor frame with feet. The system is designed for a 40 °C ambient temperature and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
