This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft, and it includes bearing frame greasable bearings.
This pump is driven by a 30 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 286TS frame. The motor features a TEFC enclosure and operates on 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods flexible coupler to connect the pump to the motor. This product has a PEI of 0.91 and is configured for CCW rotation with a 40°C ambient rating.
