This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is driven by a 1 HP, 1750 RPM, WEG motor in a 143 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply using an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. Additional specifications include AEGIS shaft grounding, a 40°C ambient rating, and CCW rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.78.
