This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes a bronze impeller with a nominal diameter of 7-1/4". It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve on a stainless steel shaft, protected by a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring and is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 182 T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The electrical system includes across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump incorporates greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame.
