This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly utilizes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal features a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring and maintenance.
The pump is driven by a 100 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 365 TS NEMA motor frame. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting configuration. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler for power transmission. It is rated for use with clean water and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
