This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation with clean water at temperatures up to 250°F.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM using a 10 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 with a PEI of 0.89. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
