This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure on a 213 JM frame style with feet. The electrical specifications are 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH, with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standards and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. This assembly includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring to protect the motor bearings. It has a DOE PEI value of 0.89 and meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards.
