This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and is configured without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is built on a NEMA 184 T-frame and operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power. This assembly includes greasable bearings, a Woods standard coupler, and a coupler guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integrated drip pan. The system is configured for across the line starting at a 40 °C ambient temperature and maintains a PEI of 0.86.
