This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump utilizes a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components. The seal is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254 T-frame configuration. It operates on 230-460/60/3 power and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and a Woods coupler for the drive connection. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan. This configuration results in a PEI value of 0.94.
