This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes center-line discharge for air venting, and the impeller is dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 326 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and features across-the-line starting. The assembly uses a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods flexible coupler connects the motor to the pump, which includes greasable bearings. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures.
