This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly employs a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 326TS frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, across the line starting capabilities, and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation. It is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.9.
