This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 256T frame, configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power. The unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and uses a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan. This equipment meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.94.
