This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring and maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 182T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This equipment meets NEMA standard requirements, 40°C ambient temperature ratings, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for the premium efficiency motor. The DOE PEI value is 0.91.
