This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve designed to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for a maximum temperature of 225°F. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 230-460/60/3 TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 286 T-frame enclosure. This motor is configured for across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard covering a standard Woods coupler. The bearing frame features greasable bearings. This unit meets NEMA standards and adheres to MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements.
