This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge connection. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a bronze wear ring and ANSI Class 125 flanges. Its mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP, 230-460V/60/3, 3PH Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. This motor is a NEMA 184T frame type with an across the line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler with greasable bearings in the bearing frame. The pump is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. It meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.94.
