This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections. The discharge is a top center line design.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 184 JM motor frame style with feet and operates on a 575V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit uses an across-the-line starting option and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The rotation is CCW, and the unit maintains a PEI value of 0.83.
