This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter and an integrated bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 284 T frame. It is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected via a Woods coupler. The pump is set for CCW rotation and is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions.
