This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The seal is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and features a NEMA 326T frame. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is mounted on a welded steel base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump and motor, which is set for CCW rotation and a 40°C ambient operating temperature. The assembly includes standard pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
