This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 225°F. The casing includes integrated suction and discharge pressure tappings.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor is mounted on a NEMA 213 T-frame and utilizes greasable bearings. It is secured to a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, using a Woods-style coupler for across the line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, with a PEI value of 0.88 and a 40°C ambient temperature rating.
