This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel (NSF61) impeller and a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting system fluids. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum operating temperature of 250 °F. The pump casing contains bronze wear rings, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and no drip cover. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features a NEMA 254 JM frame with feet. The motor is a premium efficiency unit that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.9. This unit utilizes an across the line starting option and operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature.
