This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, with a rear pullout design and a top centerline discharge.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor motor in a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH. The assembly includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and is mounted in a JM motor frame style with feet. The motor meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with a DOE PEI of 0.84. It uses across-the-line starting and is set for CCW rotation.
