This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 40 HP Baldor motor in a 324 JM frame style with feet. The motor is an ODP enclosure rated for 575V, 60Hz, 3PH operation at 1750 RPM. It meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line. The assembly is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
