This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operating temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings, and the casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 100 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 405T NEMA frame. It is configured for a 460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The unit features a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods flexible coupler. This assembly meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates in 40°C ambient conditions and has a PEI value of 0.94.
