This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly includes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump also includes a bronze wear ring, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies installation layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It uses a 215 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power with an across the line starting option. It meets NEMA standards for a 40°C ambient environment and utilizes CCW rotation. The unit meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
