This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and system fluid, and it includes flush seal line taps. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 10 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor is an ODP enclosure with a drip cover and is mounted on a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates with a CCW rotation and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The system utilizes an across the line starting option and has a PEI value of 0.89.
