This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 215 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. This equipment has a PEI of 0.87 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
